“I write for the love of writing. Growing up reading was obtuse, now it is an obsession. Books have changed my life in so many ways.
My love affair with writing started in third grade. I wrote poems and short stories as a creative outlet and an escape from school.
I read every book Judy Blume wrote and found inspiration in the poems of Emily Dickison and Robert Frost. Music is a must and many of my poems are inspired by songwriters Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, Prince, and Chris Cornell.”
