“My love affair with writing started in third grade. I wrote poems, song lyrics, and short stories as a creative outlet and an escape from school.
I read every book Judy Blume wrote and found inspiration in the poems of Emily Dickison and Robert Frost. My poems and song lyrics are derived from many sources, fellow poets, listening to music, and driving. Favorite songwriters include Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, Neil Peart, and Chris Cornell.”
