At first, my goal was to write a career book for professionals with dyslexia, a follow-up book to Dyslexia’s Competitive Edge. However, in the past six months, I realized the book needs to serve two purposes. First provide career, workplace and lifestyle strategies to help professionals with dyslexia.
The second purpose is two-fold. First, disrupt corporate employment perceptions and then craft a book that can provide strategies to professionals with dyslexia while serving as a guide to help HR and senior managers understand the unique talents and strengths often associated with neurodiverse individuals.
For the past 10 months, I have traveled and spoke at conferences in the United States and the United Kingdom. I have delayed the release date of the book to add three new chapters. The new book release date is September 2018.
